The two tiers

Free — available now

  • The full product: connect, scan, entity map, interview, questions with timelines.
  • Runs on your machine. Read-only, no account, no telemetry.
  • Bring your own model key — any endpoint speaking the OpenAI chat-completions shape, including a local model. You pay your provider directly; three measured questions cost under a cent.
  • Source-available under BSL 1.1, converting to Apache 2.0 per version.

Pro — coming

  • Questions answered through LEDAR’s own servers: no key to obtain, no endpoint to configure, nothing to paste.
  • The same product with the same refusals — read-only, rows never leave, every send shown before it happens.
  • For the person this product is actually for: responsible for a backend, not interested in acquiring API keys.
  • No price listed. It is not on sale, and a number invented for a page would be the only unmeasured number on this site.

Interested in Pro

Send a line to [email protected] — what you run, roughly how many people would use it, nothing formal. You will hear back from a person, and you will be first to know when Pro opens.

No list to join, no form, no tracking. An email you chose to send is the only signal this site collects.

Or start with Free tonight.

Everything on this site that is measured was measured on the free product. It is not a trial; it is the product.

Get the source Setup takes about ten minutes — the guides walk it.

Questions people ask about this

Will Free stay free?

Yes. The source is available under BSL 1.1 and each version converts to Apache 2.0 four years after publication — that conversion is per-version, published, and cannot be moved later. A build you have is yours.

What will Pro cost?

Undecided, and we will not print a guess. The cost of running models against real workloads is a thing to measure, not to invent — pricing follows the measurement, the way every other number here does.

Does Pro change what leaves my machine?

The contract does not change: rows never leave, schema identifiers go only when you ask a question, and the send is shown before it happens. What changes is the destination — LEDAR’s server instead of an endpoint you configured — and the privacy policy will state that plainly before Pro opens.
